The George Washington University Master of Public Health guarantees a $10,000 tuition scholarship for students who are admitted and registered in the April 2021 cohort.

With academic scholarships, GWU honors highly eligible students. As part of the admissions process, applicants for merit scholarships are automatically accepted and no application is needed.

An Online Master’s Degree in Public Health, or MPH, is an interdisciplinary degree focused on the research and practical practice of building good community health by learning to work in the design of good community education, working within the legal and political system to promote programs and policies in public health.

The Online Master of Public Health (MPH@GW) programs of GW uphold the same standards, rigor, and efficiency of their counterparts on campus. Tuition prices are also, thus, equivalent.

MPH@GW sets of 45 credits, paying $1,750 for each credit. For this degree, the approximate tuition is $78,750.

Starting dates for the program are available four times a year, in January, April, July, and September. Decisions on admissions are taken on a rolling basis.

Admission requirements for the MPH program at George Washington University:

  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • GRE scores are not required.
