The extremely competitive fellowship award offers up to $30,000 in tuition grants during the course of the program. Fellows are also given a $1,000 monthly stipend (for up to 15 months) to do research with a faculty member for 10-15 hours each week. Progress is required for the continuation of the scholarship and research assistantship in the second year. Dornsife Public Health Research Fellows are also eligible for Dean’s Scholarships at the Dornsife School of Public Health.

Scholarship of up to $30,000 over the length of the program $1,000 monthly stipend for up to 15 months is offered by the Dornsife Public Health Research Fellows for Graduate Students.

The Dornsife International Research Fellowships for Graduate Students

The Dornsife Foreign Research Fellows grant is intended for exceptional international MPH applicants whose career and research interests fit with the Dornsife School of Public Health’s emphasis on global and urban health.

The fellowship award is extremely competitive and offers a tuition subsidy of up to $30,000 during the course of the program. Fellows are also given a $1,000 monthly stipend (for up to 15 months) to do research with a faculty member for 10-15 hours each week. The Arthur L. Frank Endowed Scholarship in Environmental and Occupational Health for Graduate Students

The Arthur L. Frank Endowed Scholarship Fund provides a $5,000 tuition scholarship to students who share Dr. Arthur L. Frank’s lifelong dedication to advancing and improving the health and safety of all employees and their natural and man-made surroundings. This scholarship is available to students pursuing an MPH or MS degree in Environmental and Occupational Health. Recipients of the Arthur L. Frank Award are also eligible for Dean’s Scholarships at the Dornsife School of Public Health.

An Amount of $5,000 is offered by the Arthur L. Frank Endowed Scholarship in Environmental and Occupational Health for Graduate Students.

The Joseph C. Tringali Memorial Scholarship in Maternal and Child Health for Graduate Students

The Joseph C. Tringali Memorial Award provides a $5,000 tuition scholarship to students who are passionate about improving mother and child health. The grant is given to students who exhibit a strong desire to pursue a career in public health that will address the problems that disadvantaged children and mothers face and increase their chances of living healthy and productive lives. Recipients of the Joseph C. Tringali Memorial Scholarship are also eligible for Dean’s Scholarships at the Dornsife School of Public Health.

An Amount of $5,000 is offered by the Joseph C. Tringali Memorial Scholarship in Maternal and Child Health for Graduate Students.

The Marla J. Gold, MD Endowed Scholarship for MD/MPH Dual degree program

The Marla J. Gold, MD Endowed Scholarship Fund provides a $5,000 tuition scholarship for the MPH portion of the program to Drexel University students seeking a combined MD/MPH degree. The Gold Scholarship is given to MD/MPH students who have experience and a strong interest in leadership in public health and medicine.

Teaching and Research Assistantship for Graduate Students

Many full-time MPH or MS students work part-time as research assistants for faculty members or research centers at the Dornsife School of Public Health and throughout the University after enrolling in a programme. Many students find jobs via the relationships they form with teachers and administration, or through Symplicity, the School’s career management system. Second-year MPH students can work as teaching assistants in first-year MPH courses. Research and teaching assistantships are typically paid on an hourly basis of $15 per hour and are awarded to students who have demonstrated academic excellence.
