A one-year MBA program in Europe is more common than that in the US. In the US, you either go full time for two years, part time for 2.5-3 years, otherwise I imagine you can’t really get the full exposure of the program. I guess because of costs, length of program, European MBA is gaining popularity. It is hard to say which one is better because you will getting different experiences. For example, in Europe, you will get to experience more cultural diversity, opportunities to travel to neighbor countries, more experienced and older classmates, smaller class, etc. European schools spend much more time to classroom teaching, which is a plus. American schools give students more freedom to pursue areas that interest them including extra curriculum. Also, check and be clear about the schools’ grading policy because these will differ by country and school.
