Recognized worldwide, Penn Nursing’s MSN programs offer valuable opportunities to concentrate in a specific field of nursing while expanding the depth and breadth of  knowledge.

All applicants must have completed a BSN at an accredited college or university and a statistics course.

Competitive applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their BSN program. Applicants who have completed their BSN program in the United States with a GPA of 3.2 or greater on a 4.0 scale are eligible to have the GRE requirement waived.

Decisions for part-time applicants are processed on a rolling basis upon completion of admissions review.  Full-time decisions vary by program with the majority of programs reviewing after posted deadlines.

Students can apply for this programs if they are still enrolled in a BSN program, however their acceptance will be contingent upon the successful completion of their degree requirements and evidence of RN licensure.

Results from the TOEFL or the academic IELTS must be submitted that are taken within the last two (2) years for all non-native English speakers. A minimum score of 100 on the TOEFL is required. The expected breakdown is as follows: Reading 26; Listening 26; Speaking 23 (26 is preferred); Writing 25. For the IELTS, a minimum combined score of 7.0 is required, with each subsection having scores of at least 7.0.
