The Civil Engineering graduate programs at Northwestern University do not require a GRE exam score for admission.
Other admission requirements for the Master’s degree programs at Northwestern University in Civil Engineering are:
1.A bachelor’s degree from an accelerated college/university.
2.Transcript(s).
3.A minimum of two recommendation letters is required. All letters of recommendation must be submitted electronically by the recommenders.
4.Statement of Purpose must specify the career, qualifications, research interests, and the reason for choosing Northwestern.
5.International applicants who did not complete a degree from an institution where the language of instruction is English must submit TOEFL and IELTS exam scores. The minimum score for the test is:
- Internet-based TOEFL: 85 or higher.
- Computer-based TOEFL: 213 or higher.
- Paper-based TOEFL: 550 or higher.
- IELTS exam: 7 or higher.
6.Resume.
7.Writing Samples and Diversity Statements.
The Civil and Environmental Engineering MS program has rolling admission. The admission deadline for the Master’s degree programs at Northwestern University in Civil Engineering is July 1.
