The University of California-Berkeley currently waived the GRE requirement for the program Asian – American studies.

other basic requirements are as follows:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or a recognized equivalent is mandatory.
  • A score of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale, typically a minimum grade point average (GPA) is required.

And for the foreign students, a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree is necessary.
