I’ve completed my bachelors degree and want a graduate degree as computer science is an emerging field. I’m considering going to Cornell University. Can you help me list down all the admission requirements for their ms computer science program? Also, is there any standard/minimum GRE score requirement to get in?

Cornell University’s computer science graduate program expects applicants to have finished a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a minor degree in CS.
The university staff will review the applications on January 1 for the fall semester. It’s better to send applications in early since once all the positions for the program has been filled, they will stop considering the other applicants. So, time is of the essence!
Good luck!
Let us know if you get in!

Cornell University’s Master of Science in Computer Science (MS in CS) program is in the top 10 best graduate computer science programs. With this, it is a very competitive school to apply to and has a lot of specific requirements. This includes having a solid background in functional programming, data structures, architecture, object oriented programming and discrete structures. Supporting documents like resumes, letters of recommendation, transcript of records, personal essays, and test scores also weigh in heavily on admission rate.
Cornell does not base admission just on GRE/TOEFL/IELTS scores. The applicant should fit the criteria the university department is looking for, which is stated above.
Those who get admitted into Cornell University’s MS in CS get a full tuition and a monthly stipend while getting work experience as a Teacher’s Assistant (TA).
