I’ve been looking for the best computer science colleges as I want to continue my education with masters degree in computer science engineering. Harvard University is on the top of my list as it is renowned for providing quality education. I want to know the GRE score required to get admission in, and I would appreciate if anyone could tell me other MS computer science requirements for other universities.

I have visited the website of Harvard University and found that Harvard offer Masters degree in computer science to students having average GRE quantitative scores within the range of 90th to 95th percentiles. Further, your verbal GRE score should be between 80th and 85th percentiles. However, there are no minimum GRE score requirement for any program.
Moreover, about 2000+ applicants apply to Harvard and less than 10% of them get the chance of getting in. If you want to be among 10% of lucky applicants your GRE must fall within above ranges and your average GPA should be 3.8 (on a scale of 4.0) to get entertained by the Harvard management.
Other requirements of Harvard are as follows:
- GRE score expire after five years. You must make sure that your GRE score is not older than 5 years.
- Letters of recommendation which must be submitted online.
- All applications should be submitted online as applications in hard copy directly mailed to the Harvard admissions department will have remote chances to get attention.
For more information, refer to their website http://www.seas.harvard.edu/audiences/prospective-graduates/grad-data.

And as a quick note on GRE scores for Harvard university, GRE scores are not the sole criteria for admissions to Harvard. In fact, most of the universities have a list of requirements and a good GRE score makes your application stronger

While Harvard University does not have a minimum GRE score requirement for entering their computer science graduate program, it will be good for applicants to aim for the high 80-90th percentile scores in the GRE test.
Other pre-requisites can be found in their website and also the application form you will need to fill up.
There is also a $105 application fee.
