What is the minimum GRE & TOEFL required for admission to Masters in US ?

Is there a minimum GRE and TOEFL which universities expect from the applicants ? I am not talking Harvard and other Ivy league universities. In general what is the GRE and TOEFL recommended for admission to MS programs in US ? I am looking to to do Masters in Computer Science from top 50 universities.

Hi there Rasputin. MS from US can be a very good option if you get the right university and the right program. While the average score of GRE stands at 302.2 ( 150.8 for verbal and 151.4 for math ), all universities have their own requirement. However, the minimum that you would need to score is in the range of 310-330. The Pennsylvannia State University, North Carolina State University, Ohio, Boston and New York and many other universities require scores in this range.

As for the TOEFL score, the minimum that you will have to do is 79. This is the lower limit score asked by majority of the Universities in US. Here is the complete list of TOEFL and IELTS scores required for the top 50 US universities.
