Is taking GRE a good idea

Hi, I’ve completed my undergraduate education, and now I want to do a master’s. But I’m stuck cause I don’t know taking the GRE worth a shot.
Because a lot of top universities temporarily waived the GRE because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Now I don’t know whether I should take GRE or not. I’m seeking help here. Can anyone tell me is it worth taking GRE.
