I have done graduation from India and my college has reported the mark as CPI. When looking at admission requirements , I see that universities in US have mentioned GPA. I am not familiar with this. How do I convert my CPI to GPA ?

I’ve heard that GRE score matters a lot if you want to get accepted into any MS computer science and engineering program. I’m taking the GRE pretty soon, so can someone please guide me how to perform well in the test? Furthermore, I’m looking into John Hopkins University’s computer science graduate program. Could someone help me know what GRE scores are good for getting accepted into the university?

Thanks a lot!

I have friends studying in Boston University, and it seems like they’re having the time of their life over there. I’m currently studying in another university, but I’m planning to pursue my masters in computer science in BU. I’ve always like the university’s culture, faculty, and facilities. I’m nearing the end of my undergraduate program and I was wondering if anyone could help me gather information on what I would need to get accepted into BU. Does anyone have any idea if there is a GRE score required for admission? What admission requirements should I get ready to enter their MS program for computer science?

I’m looking for the best colleges for MS in computer science. One of my friends said that Rice University has a great MS program. However, my cousin who’s currently a student at Rice told me that getting accepted is really competitive nowadays. He also mentioned that there’s a minimum GRE score requirement. I can’t find it anywhere on their site, so could someone help me find out what their GRE score requirement is and also list the admission requirements for the MS in Computer Science program?

Cheers!

Most graduates looking to get an advance degree after completing their graduation have to clear a stringent test called Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Clearing such an exam puts in the elite group where you can get education in some of the best universities across the globe. The knowledge you impart will power you to a high earning job later on.

If you also dream of clearing GRE exam, then you need to get serious about your studies and begin your preparations for the test. Only clearing the examination will not help you enroll in prestigious business schools, you should have a good GRE score.

Thank you!!!

I have heard that today’s job market is very competitive and if you want to compete with others you have to leave your mark with your qualifications and results. I am about to complete my undergraduate program in next few months and have decided to continue my passion of computer science by pursuing masters in computer science and engineering from the University of California. My undergraduate classmates have told me that there is minimum GRE score requirement to get in the University of California. I would really appreciate if someone could confirm the statement of my classmates and tell me the other general admission requirements of the University as well.

I’ve already completed by Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science back in 2014. After that, I started working for a small company due to financial constraints. Now, that I’m better off, I think it’s important to get a Master’s Degree in Computer Science to further progress in my career. I’ve recently decided to quit my job so I can become a full time student in the University of Wisconsin-Madison for their MS program in computer science. I’ve already looked through their site, can you tell me if there are any more specifications relating to GRE score, letters of recommendation, and transcripts for this university?

Thanks in advance!
