This week we are excited to announce AI Scholarship search for Graduate programs at CollegeHippo.

With this feature, you can search for scholarships, assistantships and fellowships across 2100 US colleges, all in one place.
Why we built the AI scholarship search?
This is how the old scholarship search was and still exists.

Problems with old style search
If you would have noticed, the data in this search is limited. The reason is that once data is pulled from Colleges website, it is not very structured. We have systems in place to clean and make it usable but that is only true for 80% of the data.
AI scholarship search
While enterprises and business are still looking on how to use the Large Language models(LLM) or Chat GPT use cases, it does solve some of the core problems we had been dealing with for years. Example in case is building a search for Scholarships and Fellowship’s for the Master’s program. If you are not google then the search you will build will be using filters and search on a traditional data model where data exists in a relational model
How many Colleges data we have?
There are approximately 5000+ colleges in US offering undergraduate and Graduate programs. There are around 2100 colleges that offer Graduate programs. Our aim is to have 100% of these Graduate programs and we are working towards it. As of now, we will have 70% of the colleges data.
