The Master of Science in Data Science and Engineering (MS-DSE) program at Auburn University requires a minimum of 30 semester graduate credit hours. Within the MS-DSE program, students have the option to choose from two distinct concentrations. The first concentration, Data Engineering, is overseen by the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. The second concentration, Data Science, is overseen by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Graduate students in both the Data Engineering and Data Science concentrations share a common set of six foundational courses.
