Program components include principles and techniques that concern the economic, social, political, market, technological, and environmental context of global business.

Offered online and on campus, this 44-credit hour BU MET’s Global Business concentration in the Supply Chain Management master’s degree program is ideal for students who seek to learn how strategic leaders, senior professionals, and business practitioners plan, organize, manage, and lead global business organizations. The program examines different responses of American, European, and Asian firms to a global economy within a historic and evolving context. Various conflicting demands of national governments, interest groups, corporations, unions, NGOs, and consumers are often expressed in terms of ethical and social responsibility.

All students in the BU MET Supply Chain Management degree program have an opportunity to engage with an actual supply chain challenge faced by a firm. Many of these capstone projects are proposed by our industrial advisory group, which also provides feedback on curriculum and individual courses. Experiences such as these ensure that graduates of the program are capable, confident, and courageous professionals who lead change and offer creative solutions that ensure prompt delivery of goods and services in an ever-changing global environment.
