MS in Cybersecurity
MS in Cybersecurity at Georgia Institute of Technology-Main Campus is an interdisciplinary degree program that trains students about topics such as how information security affects our lives, how private citizens feel about privacy, how businesses and the government can be secure, and how laws and public policy are affected.
It is a 36-credit program. Students will complete two basic courses that will give them a general overview of the policy and technological aspects of cybersecurity. A third core course from one of the other specializations must be taken by students; for example, a policy specialty student must take a course from the cyber-physical or information security track.
The final essential element will be a practicum project (5 credit hours) with learning goals that are the same for all participating units.
