Admission Requirements for Graduate Programs at Lawrence Technological University

Master of Science in Information Technology: GRE required.

Admission Requirements for Master of Science in Information Technology:

  • Official transcripts must be submitted from all post-secondary institutions attended.
  • Professional resume
  • GRE or GMAT scores are needed. A GMAT or GRE score is not required if your undergraduate cumulative GPA is 3.0 or better.

Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management: GRE required.

Admission Requirements for Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for undergraduate work.
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Transcripts
  • GMAT scores are required. A GMAT is not required for applicants holding a master’s degree or who have been previously admitted to a master-level program or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and who have obtained a minimum GPA of 3.0 for undergraduate coursework.

MSIE/MEM Dual Degree in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management

MSIE students / graduates can apply for dual degree directly. MEM students / graduates must satisfy MSIE admission requirements. Therefore, the dual degree candidates from MEM must apply to and be admitted by MSIE program. Admission to the Master of Science in Industrial Engineering (MSIE) program requires:

1. Submission of the Application for Graduate Admission

2. An undergraduate degree in engineering, science, math, computer science, physical science or any other discipline from an accredited college or university (minimum GPA of 3.0); For students with degrees in fields other than engineering, prerequisite coursework is required prior to beginning the graduate level work.

3. Official transcripts of all completed college work

4. Three letters of recommendation

5. Official transcripts of all college work completed

6. A resume, including professional experiences and extracurricular activities

7. GRE encouraged but not required

8. For students whose native language is other than English, proficiency in English needs to be established
