Business Analytics , Data Analytics Master’s program at Loyola Marymount University

The M.S. in Business Analytics at Loyola Marymount University prepares students to understand, analyze and translate complex data and information into clear, actionable insights that move business forward. The signature capstone project gives students hands-on experience completing a project for a real-world client, starting from the moment they receive the data to presenting their findings and recommendations to decision makers. With full-time and part-time options available, the knowledge and skills gained from the program positions students to be an invaluable member of any team.

The LMU M.S. in Business Analytics curriculum provides students with the knowledge, tools and skills needed to analyze data and make effective business decisions. Students will gain experience in all areas related to business analytics and big data analysis including data management, visualization, data-mining, machine learning and integration strategies for analyzing large, structured and unstructured datasets. In the final months of the program, students will refine and practice their project management and communication skills through the capstone project.

The program can be completed in 12 months on a full-time basis or 24 months on a part-time basis for a total of 30–36 units depending on previous business coursework.
