Admission for Master of Science in Computer Science

Admission requirements for Master of Science in Computer Science at Northeastern University are:

1.Bachelor’s degree in an English-speaking country.

2.The statement of purpose.

3.Three  letters of recommendation.

4.International applicants must submit Duolingo English test—with a minimum score of 123—as proof of English proficiency.

5.GRE test scores are not required for Master of Science in Computer Science at Northeastern University.

Application deadlines for Master of Science in Computer Science are:

March 15 – Final application deadline for non-Canadian applicants.

April 15 – Final international application deadline.

August 15 – Final domestic application deadline.

MS in Project Management: No GRE required.

Learning and Instruction Masters: Online - No GRE

The admission requirements for the Learning and Instruction Masters: Online program are:

  1. Statement of Purpose (500–1000 words): The applicant should articulate their educational objectives and program expectations, while bearing in mind that Northeastern University's academic policy regarding plagiarism is applicable to the statement of purpose.
  2. Professional Resume
  3. Unofficial Undergraduate Transcripts; Official transcripts must be furnished upon admission.
  4. Two Recommendation Letters: These letters should be from individuals possessing academic or professional insight into the applicant's capabilities. Suitable recommenders may include faculty members, colleagues, or mentors, with a preference for one recommendation from the applicant's current employer.
  5. GRE scores are not required.

Master of Science in Global Studies and International Relations - No GRE Required

Students applying for this course need to submit a statement of purpose, a professional resume, a completed undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, two letters of recommendation (individuals who have academic or professional knowledge of the student), and English language proficiency proof (bachelor’s degree in the US or through any of the exam such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo or NU Global Exams)

Additional requirements for International Students: I-20 request form and copy of their passport.

Admission requirements for JD program:

1.Candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

2.**The GMAT and GRE are not required to those students who supply LSAT score in the 75th percentile or higher.

3.An updated resume.

4.Two letters of recommendation.

5.Transfer statement.

6.Resume.

7.current CAS report that includes LSAT score(s).

8.Applicants whose foreign degree program was not taught in English, will need to submit a TOEFL score report directly to Northeastern University School of Law.
