The Master of Project Management (MPM) program is built on a multidisciplinary approach that combines the fundamentals of business management and behavioral science with the essentials of civil engineering design to create a versatile, technically oriented person capable of leading challenging civil engineering projects.
The MPM program aims to create technically minded, early- to mid-level engineers and architects with the following attributes:
- The managerial abilities required to guide an engineering team.
- The capacity to plan, build, and manage large-scale civil engineering projects.
- familiarity with the newest technologies for project implementation
In addition, the MPM program includes five specialization areas that let students customize their course of study based on their background and areas of interest. In order to create a well-rounded and competent leader, this full- or part-time program integrates instruction in fundamental principles of development, design, and building procedures with practical concepts of management and behavioral science. It is mostly taught by working professionals who bring a wealth of real-world experience, case studies, and current issues from this rapidly changing sector into the classroom. It is intended for early to mid-level professionals. Full-time students can complete the program in 9 to 15 months while part-time students can complete the program in 18 to 24 months.
