Computer Science, M.S. - GRE Required

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field is required. Most successful applicants have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 or better on a 4.00 scale.

Applications will be reviewed as they are completed. A panel of faculty members from the Department of Computer Science will decide on acceptance, and all applicants will be evaluated for potential scholarships or assistantships.

Data science and analytics

Data science and analytics: Online master’s degree at Saint Louis University admission requirements:

1.Completed baccalaureate or advanced degree from a regionally accredited institution.

2.Minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate education.

3.International students must submit the TOEFL score of at least 80 (internet-based test), an IELTS score of at least 6.5, a Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of at least 59 or a Cambridge C1 Advanced score of at least 180.

4.GRE scores are not required for Data science and analytics: Online master’s degree at Saint Louis University.

5.Transcripts of all previous college or university education.

6.Letter of interest describing the reason for pursuing a master's degree in data science and analytics, how data science will advance the career/life and any other information.

7.Resume or curriculum vitae.

Applied Financial Economics, M.S.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once all application materials are received. Application files are reviewed holistically (undergraduate performance, internship or professional experience and professional goal statement). The average time for admissions decisions is one to two weeks.

Admission Requirements for Applied Financial Economics, M.S. program:

1. Completed online application.

2. Transcript(s).

3. Two letters of recommendation.

4. Resume.

5. Professional goal statement.

6. No GMAT or GRE required for Applied Financial Economics, M.S. program.

7. English Language Proficiency Scores: For non-native speakers of English, an official TOEFL or IELTS score report is also required and must be sent directly from ETS or the British Council. This program requires a TOEFL score of 88 and an IELTS broadband of at least a 6.5.

History M.A.

The admission requirements for MA program in History at Saint Louis University are:

1.Standardized test scores in GPA and English proficiency are considered.

2. B.A. in history, though students from other fields with strong backgrounds in history will also receive consideration.

3.Proof of competency in one foreign language is required through a written examination administered by the department or successful completion of graduate translation courses.

4.An official transcript of undergraduate record and, for applicants to the Ph.D. program, graduate record.

5.The GRE Subject Test is not required for MA program in History at Saint Louis University.

6.A current resume.

7.Three letters of recommendation assessing potential in graduate studies.

8.A letter of intent describing professional and intellectual goals, and interest in graduate studies. The letter should include the specific field of historical study interested in; a vision of how to contribute to existing research and criticism in an area of interest; and the SLU faculty members interested in working with. While plans may well change as a result of further study.

Admission requirements for International Students are:

1.A minimum scores in the following tests:

a)Paper-based TOEFL (PBT): 550 and Computer-based TOEFL (IBT): 80.

b)International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5.

c)Pearson Test of English (PTE): 54.

d)Evidence-Based reading and writing of the SAT: 550.

e)English portion of the ACT: 21.

2.Proof of financial support must include:

a)A letter of financial support from the person(s) or sponsoring agency funding the time at Saint Louis University.

b)A letter from the sponsor's bank verifying that the funds are available and will be so for the duration of study at the University.

3.Academic records, in English translation, of students who have undertaken postsecondary studies outside the United States must include the courses taken and/or lectures attended, practical laboratory work, the maximum and minimum grades attainable, the grades earned or the results of all end-of-term examinations, and any honors or degrees received. WES and ECE transcripts are accepted.

Online Master of Science in Business Analytics - No GRE

The admission requirements for the Master of Science in Business Analytics program are:
