Stanford University gre score requirements for graduate programs are:

Applications for the Autumn 2020 MS class are now CLOSED. The university hope to notify applicants of admission offers by March 31, 2020.

The fee for online graduate applications is $125.

No late test scores, recommendation letters, transcripts or other applicable supporting materials will be accepted.

A minimum of three , maximum of six recommendation letters submitted online directly by the recommenders. One official transcript from all post-secondary institutions applicant have attended for at least one year in a degree program. Applicant’ll be asked to provide a second official transcript if applicant get admitted to the program.

Letters of Recommendation must be submitted on line, paper recommendations are not permissible. The MatSci Department STRONGLY encourages electronic transcript submissions.

In light of the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, Stanford reaffirms its commitment to perform individualized, holistic review of each applicant to its graduate and professional programs.

The Stanford University is aware that some students are unable to take the GRE test due to COVID-19.

Due to COVID-19, many locations throughout China have suspended the testing of TOEFL iBT. To accommodate test-takers, Educational Testing Services is offering the TOEFL IPT Plus. The TOEFL ITP Plus provides paper-based TOEFL iBT Level 1 with an unscored video speaking component, provided by Vericant.

Applicants may be asked to re-test at a later time once the Stanford TOEFL iBT becomes available, or applicants may be asked to re-test through the Stanford Language Center. The university urge applicant to apply early and make every attempt to get their questions answered early.

Full-time study starts in fall quarter full-time MS students generally begin during the fall quarter. Part-time study available Working students can earn the MS degree through the Stanford Center for Professional Development on a part-time basis.
