Applicant can receive a Corps scholarship in addition to other scholarships Corps scholarships are both need and merit based with the majority of these scholarships reserved for students entering the Corps as freshman cadets. Out-of-state students may be eligible to receive a non-resident tuition waiver after receiving a competitive scholarship of a specified minimum dollar amount from Texas A M University. In order to provide the most opportunity to the greatest number of students, Texas A M does not stack Opportunity Award Scholarships. If applicant qualify for than one Opportunity Award Scholarship applicant will receive the highest dollar-value scholarship only. Students must complete the admissions application along with the scholarship application to be considered. The Maroon Merit Scholarship program is designed to provide funding for outstanding out-of-state students. These awards are for domestic non-resident students only Applicant must be from a state other than Texas Students eligible to receive a non-resident tuition waiver by earning at least $4,000 in competitive scholarships each academic year are not eligible for the Maroon Merit Scholarship. If applicant qualify for than one Academic Scholarship applicant will receive the highest dollar-value scholarship only. Applicant may qualify for Maroon Merit for up to four years If at any point applicant become eligible for a non-resident tuition waiver or in-state residency, all future payments of this scholarship will be permanently terminated. Students must complete the admissions application along with the scholarship questions to be considered. Each year hundreds of students apply for scholarships at Texas A M University. Applicant can help these outstanding students have the opportunity to attend Texas A M University by providing scholarship assistance through the Collegiate License Plates Program. Texas A M University receives a portion of these funds to be used for student scholarships.
