Admission Requirements for Graduate Programs at Texas A & M University-Commerce
Masters of public Health (Online) - No GRE
Admission requirements for Masters of public Health (Online) are as follows:
- Official Transcripts
- Three Recommendation Forms
- Statement of Purpose and Objectives
- Resume or CV
- Completed Online Application: Applicants must fill out and submit the online application form for the MPH program.
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee is required as part of the application process.
- Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. The degree does not have to be in a specific field, but relevant coursework in social sciences, health sciences, or a related field is recommended.
- Minimum GPA: A minimum undergraduate GPA requirement may be specified. Applicants must meet or exceed the specified GPA to be considered for admission.
- English Language Proficiency: International applicants whose native language is not English may be required to demonstrate English language proficiency through tests like the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
Note - GRE score is not required.
Educational Administration (MED) - No GRE
The admission requirements for the Educational Administration (MED) program are:
- Official transcripts

- Current Texas teacher certification
- A teaching service record that encompasses at least one year of teaching experience.
- GRE scores are not required for admission.
Business Analytics (MS) - No GRE
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Application requirements includes the following:
- Official Transcripts
- One Letter of Recommendation
- Personal Statement - Describe your preparation for graduate work and your academic interests and goals in no more than 500 words.
- Submit a resume or curriculum vitae (CV) which includes your academic and professional history and achievements.
- No GRE or GMAT required
Applied Criminology
After your application, the Graduate School will send a confirmation email within two business days to the personal email account you used for ApplyTexas.
We recommend that you request transcripts for all of your academic work.
All international transcripts must be evaluated and the evaluation submitted to the Graduate School.
Request one signed letter of recommendation, on letterhead, from a professional who can attest to your goals and ability to succeed in the program. That individual should:

Submit a writing sample on a criminal justice topic of your choice, with in-text citations of academic sources such as peer-reviewed journal articles or book chapters, to support facts and assertions. Include a reference page for the citations, demonstrating your ability to write at a graduate level.
Submit a resume or curriculum vitae (CV) that includes your academic and professional history and achievements.
A completed CJ graduate certificate program with a 3.0 or higher.
