Graduate Degree Programs

Priority admittance will be given to individuals who apply by the dates listed. Applications received after these dates will still be evaluated, but an admission decision for your semester of choice is not guaranteed. Submit your application as early as possible to be the most competitive and to receive the greatest selection of classes.

The deadline for Spring is November 30, Summer is March 15 and Fall is June 1

Once your application has been submitted and all supporting documentation has been received, it typically takes approximately 15-30 business days for an admission decision to be made. U.S. citizens may apply non-degree seeking if there is not sufficient time for an admission decision or to acquire necessary documents.

Transcripts: Official transcripts are required and will be requested within the application portal. Please use the document provided to request your transcripts. Do not send your transcripts directly to UAH. The official transcript request cover letter will provide the correct address for you to use.

GRE/GMAT/MAT scores: You will be asked for your test scores within the application portal. Do not send them directly to UAH. The minimum test scores are as follows:

1. GRE:Minimum score: 300 verbal and quantitative and a 3.0 on the analytical writing

2. GMAT: Minimum score: 500

College of Business Application Checklist

The application checklist for college of business graduate programs are:

1. Online Application: Application instructions at: https://www.uah.edu/admissions/graduate/apply-for-admission

2. Transcripts: Send your official transcripts to UAH Graduate Admissions through an electronic delivery service.

3. Complete your Entrance Exam (GMAT/GRE): You will be asked for your test scores within the application portal. Do not send them directly to UAH. The minimum test scores are as follows: GMAT (preferred)- Minimum score: 500; GRE (accepted)-Minimum score: 300 verbal and quantitative and a 3.0 on analytical writing.

4. Supplemental Documentation: Submit your resume within your Charger Status account.

The College of Business will NOT require the GMAT or GRE test score requirement for Fall and Spring term if an applicant meets any of the criteria listed below:

1. the applicant had a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA;

2. the applicant has five years of professional work experience and had a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher;

3. the applicant has completed a master's degree previously
