University of California-Davis GRE score and admission requirements for graduate programs in Health Professions

UC Davis is now accepting applications for graduate admission to the academic year.
The only exceptions are for applicants ing to graduate programs in Education or Nursing Science and Health-Care Leadership where each degree is listed as a different program.
Applicant will be given instructions for providing transcripts after applicant have submitted their application. Letters of Recommendation must be submitted by the recommendation provider directly.
If applicant are offered admission to a UC Davis graduate program, applicant will be required to send official paper copies of their transcripts or academic records to UC Davis Graduate Studies. This is a required step for accepting their admission offer.
Applicant should not attempt to convert their GPA to a 4.0 scale. Enter their GPA just as it is on their transcript.
Graduate programs generally understand that, if an applicant applies shortly before the deadline, it is not likely that a recommendation provider will be able to get their recommendation in before the deadline passes. However, graduate programs will expect letters of recommendation to arrive shortly after the application has been submitted.
Applicant can replace any recommender as long as they have not already submitted a recommendation on their behalf.
Letters of recommendation will only be accepted via the application letter of recommendation system. Their recommendation providers will be given instructions for submitting their recommendations .
Because their recommendation providers are required to provide both a letter and complete a short evaluation for applicant, any recommendations must be submitted via the university application system.
Graduate programs are only able to accommodate the specific number of letters they require. For example, if applicant have five excellent recommendation providers and the program only requires three letters of recommendation, applicant will need to select only three of the recommendation providers.
However, if their recommendation provider has already submitted their recommendation, it is not possible to retroactively change their waiver selection.
Each graduate program determines if the GRE is required.
GRE scores must be sent to UC Davis electronically from ETS. Their GRE scores will be transmitted to UC Davis electronically and matched to their record using the information applicant provided in their application.
Applicant may take the GRE than once and self-report multiple exam scores.
Please note that it can take several weeks for official GRE scores to be issued. The university recommend applicants take the GRE as early as possible.

If applicant have earned or will be earning a bachelor master or doctoral degree from a regionally accredited the students.S. college or university, applicant are not required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score as a part of their application process.
No UC Davis Graduate Studies does not currently accept the Pearson Test of English as an alternative to the TOEFL or IELTS.
