  • Robert Asaro: He works at Jacobs School of Engineering. He was awarded the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society/Materials Information Society C.H. Matthewson Gold Medal.
  • Darwin Berg: He is a distinguished Emeritus Professor. His areas of interest include Cellular and molecular mechanisms of synapse formation, nicotinic signaling, and neural network construction.
  • Gilbert Hegemier: He is a Fellow of the ASME, and in 1996, he received the Jacobs School's annual Teacher of the Year Award. Hegemier was named chair of the Department of Structural Engineering in 2007.
