Online Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development (MEd)- No GRE

Admission Requirements for Online Learning, Leadership, and Organizational Development (MEd) at Georgia University:

  • Application – Application fee: $75 Domestic/$100 International.
  • Select Campus – Online
  • Select Intended Program
  • Statement of Purpose – Submit a one-page statement of purpose online to the Graduate School. The statement of intent should clarify the candidate’s relevant background, interests, and goals about the program.
  • Letters of Recommendation – Submit two letters of recommendation online to the graduate school. Letters should be from individuals who can evaluate the applicant’s scholarly ability and potential for success in a graduate program. Preferably at least two of them are from faculty who have instructed the applicant in a previous program of study.
  • Resume or curriculum vita
  • Transcripts

The admission is open to enrollment any semester. The admission deadline for fall is August 1, spring is December 1 and summer is May 1. All application materials are to be received prior to the deadline.

All applicants must be a baccalaureate from an accredited institution with at least a cumulative grade point average of 2.75. GRE not required for the students with minimum GPA.

Along with this a letter stating the student is applying for provisional admission and detailing the reasons why the program should admit the student provisionally and the steps the student will take to ensure success in the program is needed.

2 letters of recommendation and a personla statement must also be submitted.

MS in Kinesiology

Admission requirements for MS in Kinesiology (Sport Pedagogy) at University of Georgia:

1. Hold an undergraduate degree.

2. Transcripts from all higher education institutions attended.

3. Three letters of recommendation.

4. A vita or resume.

5. A statement of purpose.

6. GRE scores are required only for application to the MS thesis program. The GRE is not required for admission to the MS non-thesis program specializing in Kinesiology (Sport Pedagogy).

Application deadline for MS in Kinesiology (Sport Pedagogy) at University of Georgia is January 10 (thesis) and June 1 (non-thesis).

MEd in Professional Counseling: GRE scores required.

Admission requirements for MEd in Professional Counseling:

  • GRE scores are required. Only core scores from the GRE General test are required.
  • Official transcripts that indicate GPA from all previous undergraduate and graduate institutions
  • A personal statement of purpose
  • A current resume
  • 3 letters of recommendation
