University of Miami requires GRE scores to be submitted for 22 Programs.
University of Miami gre score requirements for graduate programs are:
PhD and research-based Master of Science:For best chances of fall admission into one of the university PhD or research-based Masters of Science programs, their complete application must be received by January 1st.
Master of Professional Sciences :For fall admission into the university MPS programs, applications are accepted from November 1st to June 1st.
For all programs:Note that all required documents should be in the file by the target date.
In addition, applicants must have a minimum of 3.5 on the analytical writing section.
An official score of the general Graduate Record Examination Test must be submitted.
GRE scores are valid for a period of five years.
International applicants whose native language is not English must submit official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language or the International English Language Testing System A minimum score of 550 , 213 , 80 for the iBT , or 6.5 for the IELTS is required by the University of Miami for admission.
Since the number of students the university can admit is limited, the chances of acceptance and funding are often better if the applicant indicates that they wish to be considered for the Ph.D. track. The deadline is June 1 for admission in the Fall semester, and there is no guarantee of funding.
The university usually offer admission to approximately 20% of the university Ph.D. and M.S. applicants with the expectation that a total incoming class of 30 students will enroll in the Fall.
