Graduate Studies The Slavic Department has long been known for its curricular breadth as well as for its strong ties with other units across the University.
Welcome to Slavic Languages and Literatures. The cultures we cover include Russian, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, and Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian we also have strong interest in Judaic, Central Asian, Baltic, and Balkan cultures (including Greek and Albanian).

The university strongly encourage all applicants that are native speakers of English to take the GRE The university PhD program is highly competitive and a strong GRE score can make an application stand out from the rest.
International students who have obtained a degree from an institution where the language of instruction is English are exempt from the TOEFL.
