An extramural grant application that has either been accepted or favorably reviewed.
It is expected that fellows will identify their primary mentor and their scholarly oversight committee within the first 3 months of their fellowship training and propose their scholarly activity project idea within 6 months of fellowship training. The final work product must be successfully defended to the scholarly oversight committee by the end of fellowship. Additionally, each fellow is required to participate in a minimum of two hours a week of didactic learning experiences and to receive at least one hour per week of face-to-face clinical supervision.
All doctoral degree requirements including completion of a clinical internship are required to be admitted as a postdoctoral fellow. In addition, it is expected that fellows will obtain the Michigan Postdoctoral Education Temporary Limited License Psychologist license prior to beginning their fellowship. All candidates should be from a graduate program in clinical, counseling, neuropsychology or school psychology, approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) or Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) and must be from an APA CPA-approved internship program.
