Many courses are offered online, giving you flexibility in scheduling around work or other commitments.
The Mathematics and Statistics offers a graduate certificate in the area of industrial statistics. This program is primarily designed to help professionals in manufacturing and service industries to improve their expertise in statistical design of studies, and statistical and analytical methodology for decision making, planning, and quality improvement.
Individuals holding a bachelor degree are eligible to apply for admission to a graduate certificate program.
A graduate certificate in industrial statistics is awarded for completion of four courses as follows:.
Any other special topics course in the area of industrial statistics. Other special topics courses are occasionally offered and may be added to the list of elective courses.
Note that all of these have as a prerequisite an introductory statistics course, such as MATH 835 Statistical Methods for Research.
Students claiming in-state residency must also submit a Proof of Residence Form. This form is not required to complete your application, but you will need to submit it after you are offered admission, or you will not be able to register for classes.

You may request transcripts be sent to us directly from the institution or you may send them yourself as long as they remain sealed in the original university envelope.
Transcripts from all previous post-secondary institutions must be submitted and applicants must disclose any previous academic or disciplinary sanctions that resulted in their temporary or permanent separation from a previous post-secondary institution. If it is found that previous academic or disciplinary separations were not disclosed, applicants may face denial and admitted students may face dismissal from their academic program.
