MS in Information Technology Management
The five UW campuses—La Crosse, Oshkosh, Parkside, Stevens Point, and Superior—as well as the UW Extended Campus, collaborate to offer the online UW Master of Science in Information Technology Management program. Prominent academics from many UW campuses instruct students; they each bring a variety of specialties from areas such as computing, business administration, communications, and information systems.
It is a 31-credit program. Nine courses in all, divided into three distinct graduate certificates, are included in the program. A capstone project course is also required to earn the master's degree.
Although the students in the UW IT Management Master's degree online come from a variety of backgrounds—from developers and systems engineers to business analysts and project managers—they are all interested in leadership. The students are driven to succeed in the workplace, shape the direction technology takes for their companies, and develop into capable leaders. Some learning outcomes of the program are:
