30 High value Graduate Scholarships and Grants for Minority Graduate Students

Initial and continuing scholarship recipients are required to for an APA Minority Scholarship within three months of receiving the scholarship. These scholarships are made possible by a generous gift from Alice Belkin, and are intended to support outstanding minority graduate students in need of financial assistance and studying fields related to globalization or international relations.

The Roanoke Law Foundation offers scholarships to students who demonstrate diligence in and commitment to their studies, academic excellence, and an interest in law as a career. To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must be a resident of the City of Roanoke, the City of Salem, or the County of Roanoke, or be a graduate of a high school located in those jurisdictions have a GPA of at least 3.0 during high school, college, and law school (if applicable) and be accepted, or expected to be accepted prior to the 2017 Fall semester, into post-secondary training, pursuing education in the law. Applications for the 2017 Scholarships will be accepted beginning February 1, 2017, and are available from the Roanoke Law Foundation, area high schools, and Virginia law schools.

Registered nurses enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing program with a passionate commitment to pediatric oncology nursing may qualify for a scholarship of $1,000 from the Association of Pediatric Oncology N urses Candidates must also be member of APON to qualify for these scholarships at Barry University in Florida. Generously funded by the Austin Family Foundation, the Austin Scholarship covers 50% of the cost of tuition in the Doctor of Psychology program for two Spanish English bilingual, bicultural students. This $60,000 scholarship will be disbursed over the course of four years. Four students ing to the primary care track will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship. Scholarship awards are given on an annual basis and range from $1,000 to $5,000 per year. As part of the School of Law commitment to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., UC Davis established a $60,000 three-year scholarship awarded to the two members of each incoming class who best represent the spirit of Dr. King efforts to achieve social and political justice for the disadvantaged through lawful and orderly means. At the School of Law, our research engages the many dimensions of technoscientific innovation, from those that make it possible to those that constrain it.
