The USC Rossier EdD in Educational Leadership online program prepares students to be an educational leader in K-12 settings. Designed to accommodate their schedule as a working professional, the three-year program will train students to become a critically conscious leader with the skills to address inequities in education.

Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership (PSAP). This Professional School Administrator Program (PSAP) provides an opportunity for you to obtain superintendent licensure alongside a doctoral degree while exploring coursework focusing on leadership for social justice, school reform, community building, and leadership for learning. Our partnership with the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (MASS) and The Center for Behavioral Health, Equity, and Leadership in Schools (BHELS) at William James College will prepare you to become future superintendents and school leaders for public, Catholic, charter, and independent schools. The program consists of 13 courses (39 credits).

Explore educational politics and policy, the role of educational organizations working with schools and communities, and research and policy analysis. Examine conceptual, organizational, political, interpersonal, and technical aspects of educational institutions and prepare for senior leadership and policy roles. Rooted in a rigorous academic experience, this doctorate is designed for cross-sector leaders who are motivated to create change in education and learning. We prepare certified and independent teachers for school leadership positions such as teacher leaders and principals, and for cross-sector work.

California residents may request a Fee Fellowship to cover the $135 graduate application fee. Funding for this fellowship is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The CANDEL program is designed to prepare exemplary educational leaders in schools, community colleges, and related educational capacities that reside in the greater Sacramento Valley, Bay Area and Northern California.

Wheelock College of Education Human DevelopmentProgramsEducational Leadership Policy Studies EdD in Educational Leadership Policy Studies. The coursework takes place two weeks in early July in the summer and on weekends during the academic year so that students can continue to work while progressing through the program. The EdD program supports leadership development using field mentorship for students throughout the program. Creative problem-solving around organizational issues.

The Leadership in Educational Administration Doctorate (LEAD) Ed.D. program prepares future leaders for research, leadership, and policy positions throughout the education system. Educational Leadership and Administration program provides a unique path for students interested in becoming educational leaders with a curriculum that links research with practice. Ultimately, graduates are prepared for careers and advancement as leaders, researchers, and policymakers at the school, district, state, and national level.
