Certificate in Environmental and Occupational Health Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Management. You must meet the general admission requirements that pertain to all post-master certificate candidates. If you decide to pursue the full master degree, all courses will master degree provided they meet program requirements and fall within a five-year time limit. The student must declare their intention prior to the completing the certificate. Only grades of B− or above can count toward the graduate certificate. Only grades of B− or above can count toward the post-master certificate. Certificate in Environmental and Occupational Health Master of Environmental Engineering. This is a dual certificate and degree program. It is offered in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins Environmental Health and Engineering, which is hosted jointly in the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Whiting School of Engineering. You must and gain admission to the master degree program first (see above for details), and then certificate program through the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Other courses can be taken pass fail, and you must earn a minimum grade point average of 2.75 in all certificate coursework. Plus select a maximum of five courses from the list above, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Engineering and Science including BSPH focus certificate courses. To earn the Certificate in Environmental and Occupational Health as part of the dual certificate and degree program, students must complete three or of these courses. The graduate certificate in environmental resource policy helps students develop the skills to design, analyze, implement, and evaluate environmental policy gain knowledge regarding relevant international, federal, state, and local environmental policies, processes, and tools understand basic aspects of environmental science and how scientific principles govern the natural behavior of the Earth’s environment and identify the economic factors that drive the decisions of firms and consumers when it comes to environmentally-relevant behavior. Certificate students may master of arts in the field of environmental resource policy degree program and, if accepted, may count the 12 credits from the certificate program toward the M.A. degree. Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Environmental Resource Policy must hold a bachelors degree with a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better. In addition, applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. GRE scores are not required.
