7, 2018: The Washington State Professional Educator Standards Board changed their requirements on Nov. The PESB is set to change coursework competencies again leading into the academic school year. We are unable to guarantee support of the School Library Media Endorsement for the cohort at this time. Students interested in pursuing careers as teacher librarians in Washington state must hold a Washington state teaching certificate and acquire a library media endorsement.

Additionally, Graduate School policy states that graduate students whose cumulative grade point average (GPA) drops below 3.00 will be placed on academic probation and allowed one calendar year to raise the GPA to at least 3.00.
