In 1993, Beeson Divinity School began the Doctor of Ministry degree. Throughout its 27-year history, 191 men and women have graduated from the program and are now serving with excellence in a wide variety of ministry leadership roles around the world. It is with mixed emotions that I write to let you know of our plans to close the D.Min. The move is part of a plan to provide much-needed training and support to a broader spectrum of ministry leaders than the school has been able to serve via the D.Min.

We offer tools to sharpen your leadership skills, refine your theological reflection, and nurture the deep spiritual formation necessary to sustain a God-shaped ministry in diverse cultural contexts. These are the important details you will need to keep in mind as you prepare your application and degree plan. Our Doctor of Ministry program is flexible, with residency periods occurring just twice a year. The majority of our classes take place in Abilene or Dallas, Texas, or Melbourne, Australia.

Doctor of Ministry in 21st Century Ministry (DMin). Earn Your Doctor of Ministry in 21st Century Teaching. Your program will include both hybrid seminars and residential seminars. The seminars are coordinated so that students taking both seminars in a semester can come to campus for one week, with one day spent on the hybrid seminar and four days on the residential seminar.
