The Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health is designed for graduate students, public health professionals, health care providers, and occupational health and safety practitioners who seek to improve health and safety practices and compliance in their organizations. Students will learn physical and psychosocial hazards in occupational environments, risk assessment, applying control measures and monitoring their effectiveness, and environmental assessment and modelling. The recommended duration for the certificate program is two academic semesters (fall, spring). All credits must be earned within two years.
