The Master of Physician Assistant Studies program provides an opportunity for practicing physician assistants with a bachelor's degree to obtain a professional postgraduate master's degree in as little as five semesters at a reasonable cost and without any required travel. Upon completion of the program, physician assistants are awarded the Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. After graduation from an accredited physician assistant educational program and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, students are licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. The goal of the Master’s Physician Assistant Completion Program is to provide additional professional skills in order to prepare clinically practicing PAs for roles in academia, administration and research. Upon conclusion of the credit hours, the University will confer upon the participant the degree of a Master’s in Physician Assistant Completion Program.
