Students interested in applying to the MPP PhD in Government Program are preferred to complete and submit both the MPP and Government applications to the respective programs simultaneously but have the option to apply in the first year of their MPP.

The UCLA MSW degree requires a total of 91 academic units taken over a two-year period of full-time study or a three-year period of part-time study.
