College description: The quality of physician-patient communication may be a factor in medication adherence for black patients with Type 2 diabetes. Geographic isolation, difficulty accessing health care and fear of seeking services from health practitioners whose offices may employ personal acquaintances can be barriers to prevention services for women in rural areas. Most graduate students in the child adolescent concentration are funded by research assistantships on one of these projects.

College description: The Child Adolescent Psychology concentration within the MA program in Clinical Psychology provides students with foundational-level training in clinical psychology, with a focus on clinical child psychology. Students may also seek positions as clinical research assistant and coordinators, as well as pursue doctoral-level study. Along with the Clinical Psychology, Child Adolescent Clinical Psychology Concentration degree, the department also offers the following options for graduate study: Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology, a PhD in Clinical Psychology, and a certificate in School Psychology.
Standardized Test Scores: GRE Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 applicants only the GRE will be waived for all applicants.

Individuals who have met the eligibility requirements and received a GRE Fee Reduction in the past year may retake the GRE revised General Test and or a GRE Subject Test with a Fee Reduction without submitting a Fee Reduction Certificate and a copy of their ISIR. ETS will not accept letter requests, photocopies, and faxes of Fee Reduction Certificates.

Applied Psychological Science Program
College description: Pharmacy practice lab with OSCE for skills including SOAP notes, drug information responses, journal club, and physical assessmentA. Residents are required to complete one medication use evaluation (MUE) and one major research project over the course of their residency year.
