Admission
A grade point average of 3.00 or higher on a 4.00 scale is needed to be competitive. Competency-based nursing programs where curriculum does not generate a GPA will not qualify applicants for admission.

Transfer admission is very competitive and the average admission GPA is higher than the required minimum.
To be considered for admission, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 with a C or better in all science courses, or a minimum GPA of 2.8 with a B or better in the final semester of Anatomy Physiology. GPA may be based on the applicant’s entire academic record or calculated using transcripts from the last three years of college attendance, whichever is highest.

Requirements: Nursing students enrolled in a baccalaureate, master or doctoral degree program in nursing with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Deadlines for admission are typically in early December preceding the fall term in which you intend to enroll.
**Transcripts:** All applicants will submit scanned transcripts from each college or university where a degree has or will be earned as part of their online application.
**Letters of recommendation:** three letters are required, of which at least two should come from people who are well-acquainted with your academic work and research abilities.
**Test score reports:** GRE general test scores are required of all MEMP applicants. The quantitative and analytical GRE scores of successful candidates are generally above the 90th percentile, and verbal scores are generally above the 75th percentile.
