Individuals seeking an online program should consider the UW School of Public Health online MPH program. With the exception of three on-site sessions, classes are conducted online, giving students the flexibility to do their coursework largely on their own schedule and at their own location. The online MPH program is run through the UW Health Systems and Population Health and is not an epidemiology-specific degree.

The M.P.H. in epidemiology is a 45-credit degree granted by the Milken Institute School of Public Health. The curriculum prepares students to design and conduct epidemiologic studies, manage health data and make leadership decisions in public health and clinical epidemiology. The M.S. in epidemiology is a -credit program that is designed specifically for students interested in mastering in-depth research methods and training in the quantitative techniques necessary to conduct epidemiologic studies.
The Ph.D. in epidemiology is a 72-credit degree that prepares students for a career in epidemiologic research in an academic, government, or industry setting.
M.P.H. GRE general test (institutional code 5268), LSAT, MCAT, or GMAT. Waived for applicants who hold a graduate degree (i.e., M.A., M.S., J.D.).
