Experiential Education refers to pharmacy practice learning activities students complete within real-world pharmacy settings. He is a great teacher and he will modify what he is teaching to match your abilities. He will make sure you are comfortable with performing specific tasks, but he is not afraid to push you out of your comfort zone to try something new. He gives great feedback and is willing to help you with any question you have. Valerie Davis, PharmD, BCPS, precepts students for Hospital, Hospital Management, and Acute Care Introductory and Advanced Practice Experiences and serves as Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO.

This increased as my rotation continued. Davis was awarded the Preceptor of the Year for Hospital Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE 3) Distance.

Dr. Ross Belew, PharmD, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Acute Care, Critical Care, and Infectious Disease Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences and serves as a clinical pharmacist at SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in St. Louis, MO. were recognized for creating a positive learning environment with clear expectations for learning and growth.

Dr. Joshua Wollen, PharmD, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Community Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at Walmart in Omaha, NE. In addition to precepting pharmacy students on IPPE and APPE rotations, Dr. Wollen also volunteers at the student run, Magis Clinic. It is my favorite part of practicing!

Dr. Daniel Webster, PharmD, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Community Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at Orem Family Pharmacy in Orem, Utah. Dr. Webster graduated from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in 2009. Dr. Webster does a great job setting the example of what a pharmacist should be.

Dr. Mark Harris, PharmD, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Hospital Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at CHI Health Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. They all elaborated on the amount of time that Dr. Harris devoted to making sure they were learning what they needed to develop into competent professionals.

Students also commended the other pharmacists and techs at Bergan for their contribution to their education and the success of the experiences there.

Dr. Janine Elliott, PharmD, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Community, Compounding, and Management Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at CVS in Papillion, NE. I am continuously impressed by how students are able to apply the skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to the real life practice of pharmacy. As a Creighton alumna, I am reminded of the influential preceptors I encountered during my experiential involvement, and how important their guidance was in helping me grow as a professional.

Ms. Nicole Shepherd, RPh, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Community Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at Save-Mart in Spanish Springs, NV. Dr. Shepherd graduated from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy in 1997.

Dr. Meredith Jolly, PharmD, precepts Creighton pharmacy students for Hospital Introductory and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at CHI Health Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE. everything we hope pharmacy preceptors and mentors to be. It is an opportunity for students to experience a good example of a collaborative interprofessional environment in a community hospital setting. Students gain experience working semi-independently providing clinical services to patients and are integral members of our team.

Dr. Rebecca Turner, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, precepts students for Hospital Introductory and Advanced Practice Experiences at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, TX. and gained experience shadowing open heart surgeries and spending time in the NICU, ICU, emergency room, codes, etc. They were excited to see the plethora of opportunities for pharmacists in hospital practice.

Master of Science in Global Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Regulations (GCPR).

Students may pursue this program on a part-time basis, since courses are offered evenings and weekends both on-campus and online.

Degree Requirements: Students must hold a PharmD or MD to pursue this degree.

To receive the MS in GCPR, students must successfully complete 30 credits (10 courses) with an overall B (3.0) grade point average.

Online Learning The MS in Global Clinical and Pharmacovigilance Regulations is available entirely online.
