Beginning with the application term 2021-2022, an MS degree will no longer be required to apply to the PhD program in Aeronautics and Astronautics.

All students interested in pursuing an MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics should use the Stanford Graduate Admissions Application.
Their statement of purpose should identify personal and professional goals. Their statement of purpose should not exceed two pages in length
Three letters of recommendation are required; one letter must come from an academic source, although the university prefer at least two.
GRE general results must be from an examination taken within the last five years. No GRE Subject test is required.
Adequate command of spoken and written English is required for admission. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit an official test score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL results must be from an examination taken within the past 18 months.
This exception is requested only for the 2020-2021 application cycle. Applicants may be asked to re-test at a later time once the Stanford TOEFL iBT becomes available, or applicants may be asked to re-test through the Stanford Language Center.
The students.S. citizenship does not automatically exempt an applicant from taking the TOEFL if the applicant’s first language is not English.

The selection of graduate students admitted to the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics is based on an individualized, holistic review of each application, including the applicant’s academic record, the letters of recommendation, scores on the General GRE , the statement of purpose, personal qualities and characteristics, and past accomplishments.
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought on much uncertainty and the university understand that applicants may face challenges scheduling the GRE test. For this reason, Materials Science and Engineering will not require the GRE test for its MS and PhD applications for Fall 2021 admission. For international students, a minimum score of 85 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language is required for applicants whose native language is not English. In addition to the test scores, the recommendation letters, previous research experience, CV/Resume, and publication records are also considered for the admission evaluations.
Eligible applicants can request a waiver based on their military service prior to submitting their application.
Their application will not be reviewed if there is not a fee.
The non-refundable application fee schedule is: $140.00 for international and $120.00 for domestic.

Aerospace Engineering Graduate Program of Study at The University of Arizona
A Bachelor of Science degree from an aerospace, mechanical, or nuclear engineering curriculum of a recognized institution of higher education is required of all applicants to the graduate program, with a cumulative grade point average equivalent to 3.25/4.00 or better in previous university‑level academic coursework, particularly in advanced mathematics and engineering courses. Applicants’ GRE scores are expected to be in the top 25th percentile, particularly for the Quantitative portion of the GRE.

Certificate Programs Mechanical Aerospace Engineering
UF On-Campus Graduate Students Currently enrolled UF graduate students may apply for admission to any MAE EDGE graduate certificate program offered to the university distance learning professionals. Generally, for admission eligibility, applicant need a 3.0 graduate GPA in an engineering, science, technology, or a closely related discipline.
No application or professing fee is assessed for currently enrolled, degree seeking students.
NOTE to UF On-Campus Graduate Students: Enrollment in certificate coursework may be on-campus or via the EDGE distance learning platform
Students are never required to travel to campus, and course exams are proctored via internal employer supervisor, external testing agency, local 2-year or 4-year higher education institution, etc.

MSIM + M.S. in Engineering Admissions
If applicant are offered admission and decide to enroll in the MSEM program, applicant will be required to request that official hard copy transcripts from all of their degree-granting institutions be sent directly to Tufts.
Tufts Gordon Institute believes that the quality of the applicant's academic record, work experience and letters of recommendation are the best indicators of potential for success in this program. However, if applicant have previously taken the GRE or GMAT, applicant do have the option to submit their scores as part of their application for admission.
The application fee of $85 is payable through the online application by credit card or e-check, and is not refundable.
Although interviews are not required, applicant may be asked to participate in one after the admissions committee has conducted an initial review of their completed application.
Either the GRE or GMAT is required for the M.S. in Innovation & Management program. The GRE/GMAT requirement is waived for all Tufts students and alumni.
Note for Tufts students and alumni: It is recommended that applicant submit 3 letters of recommendation during the application process.

Admission requirements for Mechanical Engineering, M.S. at New York University are:
1. Complete the online application.
2. The non-refundable application fee is $90 and is payable in the online system by major credit card.
3. Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement.
4. A copy of the most recent resume or curriculum vitae must be uploaded to the online application.
5. Official transcripts are required and must be received before an application is reviewed.
6. Official university-issued or attested copies of college transcripts or a consolidated statement of marks.
7. All applicants to the NYU Tandon School of Engineering for graduate study must demonstrate excellent English language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Proficiency will be determined by the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)*, International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Duolingo English Test, Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), or Pearson PTE Academic exams. A minimum TOEFL score of 90 on the internet-based test, an overall band of 7.0 on IELTS, a score of 115 on the Duolingo English Test, a 65 on the Pearson PTE Academics exam, or a C1 on the Cambridge English: Advanced exam.

Graduate Programs in the Biomedical Sciences Case Western Reserve University
Within those overall expectations, a specific course of study for each graduate program is required and described in each degreeplan of study.
In general a year of biology, organic chemistry and mathematics through calculus are required, and biochemistry and molecular biology are strongly recommended.
Letters of recommendation from research mentors that describe creativity, handwork, and promise in science are very important.
The GRE general test is required. Recent classes have earned an average of 70th percentile in each area. A GRE subject test is desirable, but is not required. The Test of English as a Foreign Language is required for foreign students unless they are from an English-speaking country or have a degree from a university where the instruction is primarily in English.
The main purpose of these rotations is to aid students in selecting a laboratory for their thesis work.
Lehigh UniversityRanked 40 in Best National University.
An average GRE score of 75th percentile in the Quantitative area. The GRE exam is mandatory for most programs in the ISE Department. The Lehigh University does not require the GRE subject test.
The TOEFL is required for all applicants whose native language is not English. The TOEFL report is only valid for two years from the date the test was taken.
The iBT minimum scores for Lehigh University P.C. Rossin College of Engineering are: Reading - 20; Listening - 15; Speaking - 20; Writing - 20.
A GPA of at least 2.75 out of a 4.0 scale or earn a graduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a minimum of 12 hours of graduate work at other institutions.
IF applicant are offered admission and accept the offer, only then is a final official transcript required to complete their file.

Information on test dates and test center locations for both the General and Subject GRE can be found on the GRE site. The computer-based GRE is offered year-round at various locations, and scheduling to take the exam is usually not difficult. However, the GRE Subject Test has very limited offerings, so be aware of the available times.
Writing the statement of purpose can be a time-consuming process, and applicant may need to write several drafts before their statement is finished. If there are no guidelines on the length of the statement, make their document no longer than two pages of double-spaced text.
The deadline to accept offers of admission with financial assistance is April 15th. Take as much time as applicant need before the deadline to consider their options.

Most SoET graduate students must apply for fellowships by completing a separate application.

Applicant must possess a minimum of a 3.00/4.00 GPA in order to be admitted without conditions.
The Purdue University-Main Campus cannot predict their chances of admission based on GPA or test scores.
Also, failure to submit all required application materials will lead to denial of admission.
The GRE is required – there are no exceptions.
The Purdue University-Main Campus currently do not accept GMAT scores as a substitute for GRE scores.
Applicant can submit their electronic admission application before applicant take the GRE test; however, the university cannot admit any applicant until Purdue University-Main Campus has reviewed the GRE scores
The SoET graduate program does not have a minimum required score for the GRE. As a general guideline, GRE scores are expected to be in the upper 50th percentile for unconditional admission.
The overall selection process also considers various information such as prior academic performance, prior work experience, the statement of purpose , letters of recommendation, writing samples, pre-admission test scores, and other relevant information provided as part of a complete admission package as submitted by the applicant.
International degree-seeking applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language unless they have graduated from a university or college that used English as the primary language of instruction.
TOEFL is preferred; however, alternatives include the International English Language Testing System , and the Pearson Test of English
Applicant can submit their electronic admission application before applicant take the TOEFL exam; however, the university cannot admit any international applicant until Purdue University-Main Campus has reviewed the TOEFL scores – unless that applicant has earned a degree from an English-speaking university or college.
In summary, the minimum paper-based score required for admission is 550.
Purdue does NOT accept photocopies of any TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE score reports.
TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE scores are valid for only two years.
If applicant are interested in the university graduate programs, applicant must specify Engineering Technology on their electronic application form.
US citizen or resident
If applicant are interested in applying to two or more graduate programs separately, applicant will be required to create a new application and pay an application fee for each application submitted. If applicant apply to graduate programs separately, applicant will have the opportunity to customize their supporting documentation for each program.
Applicant must pay their application fee online with their credit card. Their application will not be processed until their nonrefundable application fee has been paid. The university application fee is $60 for domestic applicants and $75 for international applicants.
The university will not process their application with all documentation listed as required.
Required: Official GRE scores, submitted electronically to Purdue University. Applicant can apply for admission without the GRE scores; however, the GRE scores must be submitted prior to formal application consideration.
Required: Original transcripts of all universities and post-secondary institutions attended.
Required: A detailed, reflective Statement of Purpose highlighting career goals, capabilities to be developed, and a self assessment highlighting both strengths and weaknesses.

The Statement of Purpose is extremely important.
Applicant may submit their application only once. Applicant will not be able to make changes to their application information using the online application system after submission. The application should be submitted and all required materials should arrive by the appropriate deadline.
Once their application is submitted, applicant do not have the ability to return and make revisions to their recommendation provider list.
The university update their application status on that system.
If applicant want to enroll more than one year later, applicant must reapply and pay another application fee.
