To apply, applicant must complete an on-line application and provide a candidate statement, writing sample, 3 recommendations and transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities in addition to the application fee. The university require that applicant take the GRE and TOEFL or IELTS The TOEFL/IELTS is the only admissions requirement that applies specifically to international applicants. The University of Chicago does not require a minimum GRE score for admission nor do University of Chicago provides statistics on the GRE scores for admitted students.
