Biostatistics Master Degree
Admission requirements for Masters' programs in Biostatistics are:
1.Strong quantitative skills and a prior baccalaureate or Master’s degree in statistics or a related field.
2.
The GRE is not required for Masters' programs in Biostatistics.
3.Pre-requirements: Multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and mathematical probability using calculus.
4.Letters of recommendation.
5.TOEFL IELTS exam scores are required of international applicants.
Application deadline for Masters' programs in Biostatistics is February 1.

Masters of Science in Biostatistics application requirements:
1.A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
2.Online application form.
3.A non-refundable application fee.
4.Three letters of recommendation.
5.Academic Records/Transcripts.
6.A statement of purpose and a personal statement.
7.International students whose first language is not English must also submit TOEFL scores.

GRE scores are not required for Masters of Science in Biostatistics.
9.Mathematics prerequisites:
Three semesters of calculus.
A course in matrix or linear algebra.
An introductory course in statistics or biostatistics.

MS PhD Biostatistics Admissions Criteria
MS/PhD Biostatistics Admissions requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree with GPA of 3.2.
2.Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a similar field with GPA of 3.2 or higher required for PhD applicants.
3.Strong quantitative skills.
4.At least three semesters of college-level calculus through multivariable/vector calculus and one semester of linear algebra.
5.Documented experience with a computer programming language (C/C++, Fortran, Java, Python or equivalent) is strongly recommended.

GRE scores are not required for MS/PhD Biostatistics.
7.Three letters of recommendation.
8.Resume or CV.
9.Statement of purpose and objectives.
10.Writing sample only for PhD applicants.
11.All international applicants are required to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score. A TOEFL iBT score of 90 or above is required.

If applicant are applying to the MS program in Genetic Counseling or the MS and PhD programs in Medical Physics, applicant must be able to provide their GRE scores to apply.
Application fee - A $50 application fee is required.
CV/Resume - A CV or resume is required and should include academic honors, awards received in college, employment history, internships, summer research programs, education history, etc.
The Research Statement is required if applicant are applying to the PhD program and MS program in Biomedical Sciences.
Each letter must be on institutional letterhead and signed by the recommender.
