Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The CMHC will provide applicant with numerous learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. The CMHC program is 60 credit hours and is practitioner-oriented in the sense that students are required to complete 1,000 hours of field-based experience before graduation.
The following must be submitted by the posted deadline.Incomplete applications with outstanding requirements, or those post-marked after the posted deadline, are subject to cancellation. Once an application has been cancelled, the applicant will be required to apply for the next available term, or as a graduate non-degree seeking applicant

Officially audited classes are counted toward the four-courses required for international students; applicant may audit no more than half of the courses applicant are enrolled in.

The GRE is not a required component of the application.

The PhD programs in Coordinated Doctoral Programs at P&S do not accept applicants as transfer students, including current students in other programs at GSAS; therefore, there is no special application.
The university recommend, but do not require, a score for an advanced GRE test. An application is considered incomplete without these scores. Some programs will consider MCAT scores in place of the GRE exam.
The English proficiency requirement can be fulfilled through the Test of English as a Foreign Language or the International English Language Testing System GSAS requires a minimum TOEFL score of 100 on the internet-based test or a 7.5 for the IELTS for all admitted applicants. TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years after the test date.
Supporting documents will not be accepted after the deadline date.

Applicants to all programs, except for applicants to the Stanford Teacher Education Program , must submit scores from the Graduate Record Examination General Test ; TOEFL scores are also required from those whose first language is not English. NnnThe course also has a basic science purpose: to explore the psychological significance of community.
This course is about science teaching and learning in non-classroom settings. Applicant will use the research on teaching and learning to make STEM experiences relevant to more learners, create and facilitate a learner-centered approach to science experiences in an informal setting, and practice being a culturally responsive teacher.
Notes: Attendance at first class required. The seminar is required for all pre-assigned residents of EAST House and is repeatable for credit.

Where listed, rolling admission means that completed applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis up until the start of the term classes, not after a set deadline. Applicants applying for federal financial aid or for scholarship consideration are recommended to submit a completed application by the posted priority consideration deadline. International applicants are required to submit by the priority consideration deadline.
The priority/early decision consideration deadline will be used as a deadline for consideration for merit or need-based scholarship for domestic applicants Domestic applicants should complete the SOE Scholarship Application form and any required forms for consideration by the priority/early decision deadline.
Completed applications received by the programs that list a priority or early decision deadline will receive priority review.
Applications received by programs that list a rolling deadline will be reviewed by the graduate program up until a month before the start of the semester applied or until space capacity has been reached.

A master’s degree consisting of a minimum of 36 credits with a 3.0 GPA minimum from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university.
Applicants to the Doctor of Education EdD program are strongly encouraged to submit GRE examination scores for the General Test as part of the admission application. While the GRE examination is not a requirement for admission consideration to the program, submitting a GRE test score is an opportunity for applicants to present additional evidence of the quantitative and verbal skills required for the doctoral-level study.
The Committee does not use cut off scores or minimum suggested averages for GRE in the evaluation process, or to determine admission consideration.
ETS will not send official score reports for GRE examinations after the five-year period.
Once ETS has electronically sent their score report, and their application is submitted, receipt of their official test score will be shown as received/verified on their application.
