For possible exemption from additional language requirements, applicant must achieve an Internet Based TOEFL score of 90, with no less than 20 on each section or an IELTS score of 6.5, with no less than 6 on each band score.

All graduate students in Electrical Engineering are required to adhere to the requirements of the Graduate Council.
All students are required to take a 500-level analysis course in addition to prescribed courses in one of the two concentration areas. To incorporate some breadth into the program, students are required to take at least one course in the second concentration area.

Graduates will be able to critically and creatively conceptualize, evaluate and formulate electrical engineering problems, as well as perform the analyses required for problem definition.
