Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA to be considered. Applicants are evaluated based on past academic performance , letters of recommendation, personal professional goal statement and professional experience.
Work experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, but not required for admission.
Applicants are required by HAMPCAS to submit three references

Submit a Personal Statement Video or Essay
The personal statement is a critical part of their admission application and will be the basis for evaluation of their writing skills, capacity for self-awareness, and personal growth.
While some personal information is required in the strength , applicant should be judicious in the use of self-disclosure.
For the university distance learners and those not able to make it to campus will be able to use the electronic classroom on the Internet.

Prior college level coursework is required in accounting, statistics, and economics. In lieu of this academic preparation, students can complete the requirements via Peregrine Academic Services in addition to the core 40 credits.
Students lacking required prerequisite coursework can apply to the MHA program for conditional acceptance. Students will be granted official acceptance and permission to begin the MHA program once they successfully complete the required prerequisite courses with a “C” or better.
A graduate application and fee, resume, professional references, official transcripts, and a personal essay or video will be required for admission.
Prior to program entry students must sign a Criminal History Statement.
GRE, GMAT, or MAT testing is not required for admission to the MHA program.
Prior learning assessments are charged half of the tuition rate.
MHA students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 in any academic term.
